Archery Supplies Direct targets growth with move to Redditch

Archery Supplies Direct hopes it has hit the bullseye with a move from Alcester to Redditch.

With the help of property agents John Truslove, it has taken a three-year lease of Unit 6 at the Victor Business Centre on Arthur Street, Lakeside.

The 2,497 sq ft of space represents a step-up to improved premises.

Archery Supplies Direct, headed by managing director Nathan Silcock, brands itself as a “one stop place for all your archery needs”.

It sells online, supplying bows, crossbows, arrows, targets and a range of accessories to all levels of archery enthusiasts, from beginners to the elite. Prices range from £10 to £3,000.

Mr Silcock, whose operating company is ASD Distribution, said: “It is a building which is more suitable for our needs.

“Archery is a popular sport which was massively boosted by the London 2012 Olympics as well as by the likes of the Hunger Games films.

“At the moment we are very busy and hopefully it can stay that way.”

Ian Parker, a director of John Truslove, said: “Archery Supplies Direct has a dynamic website which arrows in to its target audience.

“Hopefully it will continue to strike home with customers.”

Arthur Street is at the heart of Redditch’s commercial and industrial area with good connections to the national motorway network.
