A GROUNDWORK firm has secured a unit for their new headquarters– at a price tag of nearly £1 million
Ashlane Construction which started out 20 years ago in an office in a backyard has now secured a £900,000 purchase of a unit on the Enfield Industrial estate in Redditch.
The company is dealing with an increased workload from major housebuilders, laying down roads, sewers, drainage, and foundations to prepare sites for building work to start.
Managing director Ashley Williams enlisted the help of commercial property agents John Truslove to help them find bigger premises.
But, Ashley said it proved a challenge as the site they wanted was hard to find and ‘often snapped up quickly’.
“It took around 18 months, but we found the premises at unit seven on Enfield Industrial Estate in Redditch,” said Ashley.
“They needed some work, which was ideal for us, and with John Truslove’s help, we sealed the deal in good time and were able to move in a few months later.
“It combines offices, storage space and a workshop with a yard and has been absolutely brilliant for the business.
“The new headquarters give us plenty of room to grow for the future. Ian and the team at John Truslove have been brilliant, working with us to find the right place at the right price.”
