Ben is second best business agent in England as John Truslove tops the county rankings again

Redditch-based commercial property agent John Truslove has been recognised as Worcestershire’s top business property agent in a national business space ranking.

And joint managing director Ben Truslove sealed the second most deals of any individual agent in England in 2023, coming third in the UK overall.

The results appear in the latest EG Radius Leaderboards which lists the country’s top agents and the most successful commercial property agencies.

In 2023, John Truslove came top in Worcestershire with 92 deals recorded and second in Warwickshire with 20 deals.

And Ben Truslove notched a staggering 115 deals across the Midlands during the past 12 months to 31 December 2023.

Ben said: “Last year was a phenomenal year for John Truslove. Not only did we see a pick up post Covid but also business in Worcestershire and Warwickshire bounced back and this was reflected in demand for business space.

“Many of our deals were for additional space for clients we have advised over a number of years, but what was really encouraging was how much space we arranged for start-ups.

“Start-ups and growing family businesses are the engine room of the regional economy and we are very proud to be able to help companies grow into more space as they become more and more successful.”

And he paid tribute to the team at John Truslove for the company’s 2023 results.

“Joint managing director Ian Parker and I have worked together for over a decade, and we are really pleased to have James Haynes as our apprentice surveyor. James has an excellent attitude and is enjoying learning our profession, alongside studying at Birmingham City University.

As with any successful business we work closely together and wouldn’t be anywhere without the fantastic support of Ruth Banting and the rest of our dedicated team in the office. This award is thanks to the culmination of our joint efforts.”

The latest results mean that John Truslove has been Worcestershire’s top commercial property agent for the past five years.
